Shinichiro Yoshii, CEO

In 1996, became Fellow of the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (DC). Engaged in research of innovative, autonomous computation and complex systems engineering, in the Graduate School of Engineering, Hokkaido University.
In 1998, received a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Engineering, Hokkaido University (Ph.D), and appointed as research fellow of Japan Society for Promotion of Science (PD). Then, studied biopolymer DNA computing in the UK.　
Since 1999, appointed as a fellow Scientist leading the research work in the area of next generation information retrieval processing system and XML/Web service middleware.
In August 2001, joined Softbank as Director of Technology Research and Development Center. Engaged in standardization activities for technology research and communications such as DSL and IMT-2000.　
In April 2004, became Associate Professor, Complex Systems Engineering, Information Science of Hokkaido University Graduate School, responsible for information system research and development of Web 2.0 era integrating information analysis technology based on autonomous self-building feature of Complex Systems Engineering and Complex Network Theory.
In 2007, resigned from the University of Hokkaido, founded Scigineer Inc. and appointed as CEO.


Shinya Yoshimura, CIO

In 1998, joined Unisys Corporation in Japan, engaged in developing large scale mission critical systems in financial, manufacturing, and service industries as IT architect.
Also participated in writing activities with industry media like Nikkei BP and Impress, research work involving data mining, and lecturing in universities. Personally was also involved in medical product sales management systems, advanced SNS system development, and other unique system development and operation. Holds a degree in Master of Engineering, Research Student (Graduate School of Information Science, Hokkaido University), as well as a Professional Master’s degree in Information Management from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
In 2007, resigned from Nihon Unisys, Ltd. and appointed as Director of Innovation Kitchen, Inc. and Director of Scigineer.

Michihiro Sagae, CTO

From October 2001 to October 2005, worked for Softbank, supporting business activities of Softbank as a project manager for developing Softbank unique sales management system. Highly evaluated for the ability to develop systems based on ambiguous ideas, and without a clear design, in the requested timeframe.
In 2007, appointed CIO of Scigineer.

Kakutaro Kitashiro, Board Member

In 1967, joined IBM Japan.
In 1993, became the President and CEO of IBM Japan,
and in 1999 assumed the role of Chairman, and President of IBM Asia Pacific.
In 2003 appointed as the representative of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives,
and from 2007, became lifetime officer.

Koichiro Nakamura, Board Member

1996, participated in Yahoo Japan start up project.
In 1997, joined Mitsubishi Corporation and played key role in Telecom start up company which Mitsubishi Corporation had invested in, establishing ASP business and Data center related business.
From 2007, joined Scigineer business start up. Graduated from Waseda University in 1997.
In 2007, graduated from Chicago University business school with an MBA.
In 2006, won the 3rd prize in the GSB Marketing Plan Contest sponsored by Google.
In 2007, won the Most Innovative Business Award in Chicago University business plan contest.
2007, selected as 12th Kauffman Fellows Program winner.

Osuke Honda, Board Member

In 1996, joined Mitsubishi Corporation.
In 2004, joined Apax Globis Partners (currently Globis Capital Partners) as Principal and a Executive committee member.
Joined DCM in 2007. Principal co-representative of Japan.

Takenobu Miki, Board Member

In 1995, Graduated from Faculty of Economics from University of Tokyo, Joined Mitsubishi Estate Co., participated in various project like MARUNOUCHI activation project.
In 1998, at the invitation of the President Masayoshi Son, joined Softbank Corporation. Involved in launching new businesses as a head of President office.
In 2006, Founded Japan Flagship Project Co.,ltd and is running the company as CEO. Currently holds potitions as director of ADways Co. Ltd, Auditor of Softbank Technology, member of pension record committee, Ministry of Health and Labor.
